A bot is an artificial program that creates artificial players that join when operating on a lan or on a dedicated server. the purpose is to provide a fun gaming experience even though there is not real human players there to share it with. Most bots however; can be played along with humans to enhance the gaming experience or to provide practice. Bots range from down right stupid to god-like. They can become so hard that u can not even kill a bot when he is chasing you with a knife and you are shooting at him with a machine gun. Some bots have settings to control these settings in game or in a menu that you set before you play.
